I have been using Trish McEvoy tubing mascara for last three years, and I loved it, but wanted something new. When I saw such positive reviews for this mascara, I just went for it. It is on a pricier side as usually lux brands cost around $30, but then if you buy it once or twice a year why not splurge extra $15-20? This mascara is good tubing mascara, extremely easy to wash off with warm water... But application is pain in the neck. It has small wand, so it doesn't brush well through eyelashes, and eyelashes end us sort of clumping together. I have to use eyelash brush, after applying this mascara but it takes twice as much time and effort. On the other hand, it looks like this wand works perfect for my bottom eyelashes. Also tube itself has wide walls at the "neck", so if you have extra mascara on your wand it is almost impossible to take it off before application. To sum it all up, the mascara "formula" is very good, very smooth, but applicator wand could be better, especially for that price. If I had chance to try it beforehand, I wouldn't buy this particular one, but I see myself buying Kanebo mascara with a better and bigger wand.
